We greatly appreciate the generosity and trust of our donors. This Refund Policy explains how donation refunds are handled for contributions made through our website and related payment platforms.

General Donation Policy

All donations made to Lanka Blind Foundation are voluntary contributions intended to support our charitable mission and community programs.

As donations are generally used promptly for ongoing projects, awareness programs, operational expenses, and beneficiary support, donations are normally considered non-refundable.

However, we understand that certain situations may require review and assistance.

Eligible Refund Situations

Refund requests may be considered under the following circumstances:

Duplicate donation transactions
Incorrect donation amount entered accidentally
Unauthorized or fraudulent payment activity
Technical errors during payment processing
Multiple charges caused by system or gateway issues

Refund approvals are subject to verification and review by Lanka Blind Foundation.

Refund Request Timeframe

To request a refund, donors should contact us within:

7 days of the transaction date for accidental or duplicate donations
Immediately upon discovering unauthorized transactions

Requests submitted after a prolonged period may not be eligible for review.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method whenever possible.

Additional time depending on your bank, card issuer, or payment provider

Lanka Blind Foundation is not responsible for delays caused by third-party financial institutions or payment gateways.

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds may not be provided in the following cases:

Donations made knowingly and voluntarily
Requests submitted after an unreasonable delay
Donations already allocated or utilized for charitable activities
Minor typographical errors that do not affect the transaction materially

Fraud Prevention
